The Æro Chair · No. 01

A chair you feel
before you see.

Three years of prototyping went into a single curve — the line where the backrest meets the arm, drawn so the body settles without thinking.

Steam-bent oak forms the frame in one continuous gesture, with no visible fixings. The seat is wrapped in undyed Gotland wool that softens with the years rather than wearing out.

Every Æro is numbered, and built to be repaired — not replaced — for generations.

Materials

Honest by nature.

We choose few materials, and we choose them well — sourced close to home and finished to age with grace.

01

Nordic oak

FSC-certified oak from managed Danish and Swedish forests, oiled by hand so the grain stays open to the touch.

02

Undyed wool

Gotland and merino fleece left in its natural tones — no pigments, no plastics, fully traceable to the flock.

03

Solid brass

Lighting cast and brushed in small foundries, left unlacquered to develop a living patina over time.
